Laser Label Materials

Laser labels are available in a range of materials, standard and custom sizes to work with Laser, Copier and Inkjet printers. Choose from a range of label sizes and materials available to buy online or offline. Options include permanent or removable adhesive, translucent, PE and polyester materials plus coloured, fluorescent and pre-printed labels. Custom sizes available on request.

Paper Materials

White and Colour Paper
White, Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Orange as standard, other colours available. This material is designed for use on medium speed laser printers, inkjet and laser printers and copiers. The surface of the material gives a good toner bond and print resolution. The product is well suited to label applications involving address and inventory office use. A permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack and adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. This adhesive also complies with the German BgVV for indirect food contact & short term contact with dry and moist food.

White Paper, Removable Adhesive
A bright white, uncoated paper with a smooth finish giving good quality print results using inkjet and toner systems. The material is designed for use on most inkjet and laser printers and copiers especially mid to high-speed machines. A low tack water based acrylic removable adhesive with applications on a varied range of surfaces, the peel ability of the adhesive once applied depends on the material being labelled, the surface shape and the temperatures during application and storage. Because of these factors it is always recommended that testing is appropriate prior to usage. As it is a soft adhesive it can become more permanent in colder conditions, which should be taken into consideration.

White Opaque Paper
A plain white matt paper with an opaque black coating on the reverse side. This label material is ideal to cover up incorrect printed information on packaging & leaflets etc without any show through. A permanent, black, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. The high heat resistance of the material allows clean running through laser printers.

Translucent Paper
A semi transparent paper specifically designed for use on ‘hot fuse’ printer systems. Ideal for applications using variable information printing such as address & inventory labels where a natural no label look is required. Due to the high moisture content of the face material, some curl may occur on exiting the printer. This will flatten, but multi-fed sheets should be avoided. A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces.

Fluorescent Red, Lemon, Green and Orange Paper
A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. Suited to high temperatures (through laser printers & copiers). The dry edge adhesive helps to prevent any adhesive build up & allow better feeding through the printer. A fluorescent coated printing paper, designed specifically for laser printers & copiers. In some cases the material can be printed monochrome on an inkjet printer, but testing for this is needed. This material is ideal for variably printed information as well as for eye-catching promotional work.

Gloss White Paper
A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. Suited to high temperatures (through laser printers & copiers). A high gloss white, cast coated paper suited to laser & copier overprinting methods. Suitable for both monochrome & colour printers this makes it ideal for high quality labelling that stands out such as promotional work. It is recommended that testing is carried out for suitability to colour print.

Gold and Silver Metallic Paper
A permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. Suited to high temperatures (through laser printers & copiers). A gold or silver coating on a clay coated paper to give a high satin finish. This material is suited to decorative & quality primary labels. Testing is recommended for suitability to each individual printer.

Synthetic Materials

Matt White Polyester
A matt white polyester (PET) specifically designed for use on ‘hot fuse’ printer systems. Some slight curl may occur on exiting the printer but this will flatten quickly. This material is primarily used in the area of ‘long life’ durable, tracking labels. This material also confirms to BS5609 part 2 for marine immersion. (To fully meet the BS5609 standard, independent testing of the label with overprinting included should be conducted). A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces.

Matt Transparent Polyester
A matt transparent polyester (PET) specifically designed for use on ‘hot fuse’ printer systems. Some slight curl may occur on exiting the printer but this will flatten quickly. This material has a frosted appearance when peeled off of the backing sheet but gives a no label look once applied to another surface. A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces.

Glass Trans Polyester
A glass transparent polyester (PET) specifically designed for use on ‘hot fuse’ printer systems. Some slight curl may occur on exiting the printer but this will flatten quickly. This material is primarily used in the area of ‘long-life’ durable, tracking labels. A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces.

Matt White Polyethylene
A special matt white polyethylene (PE) specifically designed for use on ‘hot fuse’ printer systems (laser & copier) and in some cases the material can be printed using inkjet technology, but testing is required. This material also conforms to BS5609 part 2 for marine immersion. A clear permanent, acrylic based adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. Specially designed for the labelling of chemical drums.
