Slide Labels
Slide labels for use in the laboratory help avoid confusing slides and reduce human error. These slide labels are resistant to harsh chemicals and have a permanent adhesive to ensure they are not easily removed in a busy laboratory environment.
Label materials consist of:
- Metallised polyester
- White polyester
Slide labels are extremely resistant to harsh chemicals, but still have write on capabilities for any extra information that needs to be added.
Chemical resistance that will withstand:
- Xylene
- Toluene
- DMSO
- Ethanol
- Freezer (-80°C)
- Autoclave (+121°C).
Although doctors / scientists can gather information in other ways, often the only way to understand what is going on is to look at cells under a microscope which is why slides are needed.
