The Intermec CK32IS intrinsically safe handheld computer is the latest product on the market to combat the safety issues for workers in the chemical, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical industries.

The rugged CK32IS is sealed to IP67 standards and can withstand up to a 5 foot drop. The CK32IS is the only handheld computer to achieve Zone 0 certification, which designates “double fault” safety in environments in which flammable gases are always present under normal operating conditions.

Intermecs latest product has received a number of hazardous environmental ratings including UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory), ATEX (European Atmospheres Explosibles Directives) and IECEx (International Electrotechnical Commission).

The CK32IS combines hazardous safety with the latest technology to support your rapidly changing business needs including Microsoft® Windows Mobile® operating system, 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth®, VoIP support, integrated scanning, USB and
Ethernet.
